2 years ago Kareena was thrice as old as her son and 6 years later she will be 4 years older than twice son age how old are they now

let the age of Kareena be x and her son's age be y(in years)

Then ATQ,

=> (x - 2) = 3(y - 2)

=> x - 2 = 3y - 6

=> x - 3y = -4

=> x = 3y - 4 ------(1)

Also

=> (x + 6) - 4 = 2(y + 6)

=> x + 2 = 2y + 12

=> x = 2y + 10

Using (1) in above equation

=> 3y - 4 = 2y + 10

=> y = 14

Let's use this in (1)

=> x = 3(14) - 4

=> x = 38

Let Kareena's Son be Ranbir

Then Kareena is 38 years old and Ranbir is 14 years old.
