Let the age of father be y yes and age of son be x yrs.

(X-2)7=(y-2)------1
7x-y=12
X+y=36------2
By elimination method
We get,
7x-y=12
-x-y=-36

8x=48
X=48/8
There for x=6
From eq. 2
X+y=36
6+y=36
Y=36-6
Y=30
Hence present age of father is 30yrs and present age of sushil is 6yrs.
