The paragraph by Nisha on the importance of reading can be written as:
"Read to Lead"
The title "Read to Lead" suggests the whole content of the paragraph. Reading can never be a waste of time. According to a research conducted on the number of student readers over the years 2006-2010, the present generation is finding reading quite irrelevant and wasteful. In the year 2006, there were 85 readers out of 100 and this record decreased to 70 in the year 2007. There was a sharp drop in the number of boy readers mainly. The number of readers went on to decrease later in the year 2008 to 65 readers per 100. The data clearly went to degrade more to 50 readers in 2009 & only 25 readers in 2010. So the number of readers has almost declined to from the years 2006-10. The youth needs to understand that the one who reads today, can lead the world someday. Reading improves your skills, knowledge, and brainpower, and gives a clear view of the world. As much as exercise is important to the human body, as is reading to the human mind. Hence, reading should be included in a student's daily routine.
