I stood there waiting intently. 4:30 p.m. She wasn't back home. I rummaged through her room to see if she had left her phone here. Nothing. My husband walked in and told me that I was just worrying over nothing and that she'd be back anytime soon.“ Maybe she's with her friends at the theatre and she switched off her phone.”, he said, trying to console me.

I nodded, but a part of me still was worried. I found my phone, dialled her number and waited. I bit my lip. Nothing again.A tear stung my face. Just then, my daughter walked in. " Sorry, I had thrown my phone in the gutter as a dare”, said she, normally.

I looked at her with anger and sadness and was completely overwhelmed. Seems like she's not going out again.

I would be so afraid and sad wondering what happened to my daughter and why she has not returned home. I will either call her friends and ask where she is or go search her in where she will play often
