8. Find the angles of the parallelogram ABCD if (1) A: B = 2 : 7

A + B = 180° ( Sum of adjacent sides of a parallelogram is 180° )

2x + 7x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 20°

<A = 40°

<B = 140°
