62 out of 80 in English. However, the class teacher entered 26 marks instead of 62 for English. What will be the error in the percentage of marks?

*EXPLAINATION*

 hope you find the explanation to be simple enough and try to solve similar questions (Google percentage questions for practice) to get a better understanding of the concept and boost your confidence.

Percentage = (The value you have/ Total value)*100

Multiplying by 100 is required so as to get the per cent means for every 100

French: Marks obtained = 60 ; Total Marks= 80

Percentage = (60/80)*100 = 75%

Similarly, calculate for English and Mathematics
