20. Atul used of his garden to plant tomatoes and another of it to plant brinjal. He then divided the
rest of his garden into several small plots of land. Each small plot of land was 18 of his garden.
a) How many small plots of land were there?
b) If the area of his garden was 72 m², what was the area of each small plot of land?​

part of land for tomatoes = 2/3

part for brinjal = 1/9

remaining part = 2/9 (cheak if doubt 1-2/3+1/9)

so part for small plots = 1/18 / 2/9 = 4

now if the area of the garden is 72sq. m then area of each plot = 72/ 1/18 = 4sq. m (in qs. it is given that each plot is 1/18 of the garden).
