The cross-section of trapezium Area of trapezium = 1/2*height* sum of parallel sides

[1/2*10*(2+4) = 5*6 =30sq. m

volume of tank =Area of cross section *Length

=(30*25)cu. m= 750 cu. m

[ if 1 cu. m= 1000 Litre]

Capacity of tank is 750*1000

i.e 7,50,000 Litre
