Mass of solute = 20 g
Mass of solvent = 150 g
So, mass of solution = 20 g + 150 g = 170 g.
We know,
w/w% of concentration = (Mass of solute)/(Mass of solvent) × 100%
=> w/w% = 20/170 × 100% = 200/17%
=> w/w% = 11.76% (answer).
