atomic mass of calcium carbonate=20 grams

molecular mass of calcium carbonate =caco3

100.086

the calcium carbonate then on heating

=11.2

calcium oxide Cao

= 36

the law of conservation of mass

20/100=20 grams

11.2/100.08=11.2 gm
