x {}^{2}  - (5 - 3)x - 15

x {}^{2}  - 5x + 3x - 15

x(x - 5) + 3(x - 5)

(x + 3)(x - 5)

x - 5  = \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  x = 5 =  \beta
