Sun is the ultimate source for life. Plants and animals are interdependent on one another. A change is flora life is bound to make changes in fauna life. For e.g. Lion, which follow a carnivore diet (feeding on other living creatures). Lion is a predator and feeds in creatures like deer. Deer being a herbivore ( diet that follows feeding on plants) have a consistent diet of plants. Plants perishing off will result in decaying of deers. Since, lion cannot find food to eat they end up dead and decaying. This is how food web is interconnected and plants and animals depend on each other.
