Given:-

  • Initial velocity , u = 20m/s

  • Final velocity ,v = 60m/s

  • Acceleration, a = 5m/s²

To Find:-

  • Time taken ,t

Solution:-

By using 1st Equation of motion

• v = u+at

Substitute the value we get

→ 60 = 20×5×t

→ 60-20 = 5×t

→ t = 40/5

→ t = 8s

Therefore, the time taken by object is 8 second.

Additional Information!!

Some equation of motion are

• v = u +at

• s = ut +1/2at².

• v² = u² + 2as

Here,

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

a is the acceleration

s is the displacement or Distance

t is the time taken

Answer:

Given-

Intial velocity= 20 m/s

Final velocity= 60 m/s

Acceleration= 5 m/s²

To find-

Time taken

Solution-

By using 1st equation of motion

v= U + at

we get

⇒60 = 20×5×t

⇒60-20 = 5×t

⇒t = 40/5

⇒t = 8 sec
