Answer:

If 20 men finish 1/4 of a job in 8 days, it will take them 24 more days to do the job. Then, the question is how many men would it take to finish the job in 5 days?? So we have....

20 men*24 days = x men * 5 days

x = 20*24/5 = 96 men could finish the job in 5 days. But since we alreafy have 20 men, we need 76 additiomal men.....!!!!

Answer:

100

Step-by-step explanation:

20 men - 8 days - 1/4 work =

 ? men - 4 days - 3/4 work

Answer :

20 men - 8 days - 1/4 work =

20 men - 8*3 days - 1/4*3 work =

20 men - 24 days - 3/4 work =

20*2 men - 24/2 days - 3/4 work =

40 men - 12 days - 3/4 work =

40*3 men - 12/3 days - 3/4 work =

120 men - 4 days - 3/4 work =

There already are 20 men so,

120 - 20 = 100

So, more 100 men are needed to achieve the target.
