45% of it is painted yellow and the remaining length is painted red.

If the length of the pole is 18 m what is the length of the red colored section?

Solution :

The length of the pole is 18 m .

• 20% of the length is painted green

>> Length of green colored section = 20% of 18

>> ⅕ × 18 = 3.6 m .

• 45% of the length is painted yellow

>> Length of yellow colored section

The remaining length is painted red .

Length of the red section
