Answer:

L : B = 3 : 2

Let length = 3x and breadth = 2x

Perimeter = 1280 m

2(l + b ) = 1280

2 ( 3x + 2x ) = 1280

2 ( 5x) = 1280

5x = 1280/2

5x = 640

x = 640/5

x = 128

Length = 3x = 3× 128 = 384m

Breadth = 2x = 2×128 = 256m

Given, perimeter of the rectangle = 1280 m

ratio between length and breadth = 3:2

Assume "x" as exluding the ratio

==> length = 3x

and breadth = 2x

perimeter of a rectangle = 2( l+b )

1280 = 2(3x + 2x) \\ 1280 = 2(5x) \\ 1280 = 10x \\ 10x = 1280 \\ x =  \frac{1280}{10}  \\ x = 128

length = 3x = 3 (128) = 385 m

Hence,

Option (a) 384 m is the answer
