20 persons are invited for a party. In how many different ways can they and the host be seated at circular table, if the two particular persons are to be seated on either side of the host?

Total number of persons in party=21=21

As two persons A and B are to be seated besides the host H, number of arrangements are AHB and BHA.

Taking {A,H,B} as a single element.

nono of persons=19=19

\therefore no∴no of arrangements=(n-1)!=(n−1)!

=18!=18!

\therefore∴Total nono of ways=18!\times 2=18!×2ways of arrangement besides host

=18!\times 2=18!×2
