so, the equation become

now, 7 x - 3 y - 11

multiply both sides with 4

so the equation becomes

28 x - 12 y = 44. ................eq (2)

by elimination method

27x - 12y = 42

-28x + 12y = -44

now 9x - 4y = 14. (from equation 3)
