Here:
a = 10
d = 7-10 = -3
So
an = a + ( n-1 ) x d
a20 = 10 + ( 20-1 ) x -3
- = 10 + ( 19 ) x -3
- = 10 + (-57)
- = -47
Hence: 20th term of the progression is -47.
