Given :-

  • Area of Square = Area of Rectangle
  • Breadth of the Rectangle = 25cm
  • Side of Square = 40cm

 \\ \\

To Find :-

  • Length of the Rectangle.

 \\ \\

Solution :-

 \\

Area of Square

⇒ Area of Square = Side × Side

⇒ Area of Square = 40 × 40

⇒ Area of Square = 1600cm²

━━━━━━━━━━━━

 \\

According to the Question

⇛ Area of Square = Area of Rectangle

⇛ 1600 = Length × Breadth

⇛ 1600 = Length × 25

⇛ 1600/25 = Length

⇛ 64cm = Length

━━━━━━━━━━━━

 \\

Verification :-

⇛ Area of Square = Area of Rectangle

⇛ Side × Side = Length × Breadth

⇛ 40 × 40 = 64 × 25

⇛ 1600 = 1600

Hence, Verified

 \\

∴ Length of Rectangle = 64cm ( c )

Additional Info :

  • Area of Square = Side x Side
  • Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)
  • Perimeter of Square = 4× Side
