So the solution to your question is...
Mass of solute/Mass of solution×100
Given mass of solute= 5g of nacl
Mass of solution = mass of solute + mass of solvent
Let mass of solution be x
Therefore,
5%= 5g + x
5/100 = 5g/(5 +x)g
500 = 25 + 5x ( by cross multiply)
500-25 =5x
475= 5x
x= 475/5
x = 95g
Mass of water to be added is 95g
