Activity:

Take some solid Ammonium Chloride in a test tube and heat it gently.

You will observe that solid changes into vapours .

When the vapours touches the upper cooler part of the test tube it changes into solid Ammonium Chloride .

CONCLUSION:

This shows that no new substances formed, only the state changes directly from solid to gas. But when the vapour is cooled , it again changes into original substance , that means the change is temporary and reversible .
