Given:

Initial amount, N₀ = 200 gm

Total time = 10 hours

Half-life period, T1/2 = 2 hours

To Find:

The amount of substance left after 10 hours.

Calculation:

- The no of half-lives = Total time/Half-life

⇒ n = 10/2 = 5

- Amount of substance left:

N = (1/2)ⁿ × N₀

⇒ N = (1/2)⁵ × 200

⇒ N = 200/32

N = 6.25 gm

- So, the amount of substance left after 10 hours is 6.25 gm
