Step-by-step explanation:

ʀᴀᴛɪᴏ = 4:7:9 = 20

a \:  =  \frac{200 \times 4}{20}  = 40kg

b  \: =  \:  \frac{200 \times 7}{20}  = 70kg

c \:  =  \:  \frac{200 \times 9}{20}  = 90kg

Answer:

Given:-

200 kg of rice was distributed amongst A, B and D in the ratio 4:7:9. How much does each get ?

To Find:-

How much does each get.

Note:-

When A,B and C is added; we will get 200 kg

When we rearranged a term from one side to another~

+ becomes -

- becomes +

× becomes ÷

÷ becomes ×

Solution:-

We don't know the exact number of A,B and C; so let them consider as "x"; so it will be~

A = 4x , B = 7x and C = 9x

According to note first point~

▪︎ A + B + C = 200 kg

▪︎ 4x + 7x + 9x = 200 kg

▪︎ 20x = 200 kg

According to note second point ( rearrangement ), 20x is in multiple form; so~

▪︎ x = 200 kg ÷ 20

After doing calculations~

▪︎ x = 10 kg

♤ So now~

▪︎ A -> 4x => 4 × 10 kg = 40 kg

▪︎ B -> 7x => 7 × 10 kg = 70 kg

▪︎ C -> 9x => 9 × 10 kg = 90 kg

Answer:-

A gets = 40 kg

B gets = 70 kg

C gets = 90 kg
