let the no. of days taken by 150 men to complete the provisions be x

no. of men (p) 200 , 150

no. of days (q) 30 , x

less the people, more the days taken to complete provisions, hence, p and q vary inversely.

p×q=200×30=150×x

200×30/150= x

40=x

hence, 150 men take 40 days to complete their provisions
