Answer:
0.26M
Explanation:
Quantity of solution = 200ml and 300 ml
Hcl = 0.2 moles and 0.3 moles
Molarity = no of moles of solute[H+]/ volume of the solution
No of moles of [H+] for HCl = 0.2 × 0.2 = 0.04
No of moles of [H+] for HCL= 0.3 × 0.3 = 0.09
Total no of moles of [H+] = 0.04 + 0.09 = 0.13
Total volume of solution = 300ml + 200 ml = 500ml = 0.5L
Thus Molarity = 0.13/0.5
= 0.26 moles/L
Thus, the final molarity of the solution is 0.26M
