Answer:

0.0012cm is the radius of one carbon atom.

Explanation:

We have to divide 2.4 by 2000

2.4/2000=0.0012.

Total Length = 2.4 cm

Total number of atoms along the length = 2000

So,

 \rm Diameter \: of \: each \: atom = \dfrac{2.4}{2000} \\ \\ \rm = 1.2 \times {10}^{ - 3} \: cm

 \rm Radius \: of \: the \: atom = \dfrac{1.2 \times {10}^{ - 3} }{2} \\ \\ \rm = 0.6 \times {10}^{ - 3} \: cm \\ \\ \rm = 6 \times 10^{-6} \ m \\ \\ \rm = 6 \: \mu m

\therefore Radius of carbon atom = 6 μm
