Given :- 2000 is multiplied by the smallest number so that the result is a perfect cube. What is the resulting perfect cube?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • A cube must be pair of 3 prime number multiple .

so,

→ 2000 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 5 * 5 * 5

or,

→ 2000 = (2 * 2 * 2) * (5 * 5 * 5) * 2 .

as we can see that,

  • 2 is in pair of 3 .
  • 5 is also in pair of 3 .
  • but one 2 is not .

then, in order for a perfect cube , we must make it in pair of 3 .

therefore,

→ 2000 * 2 * 2 = (2 * 2 * 2) * (5 * 5 * 5) * (2 * 2 * 2)

→ 8000 = (2 * 2 * 2) * (5 * 5 * 5) * (2 * 2 * 2)

hence,

  • smallest multiplied number = 2 * 2 = 4 .
  • Resulting perfect cube = 8000 .
