Now as we know that
v² = u² + 2as
→ (0)² = (20)² + 2a(40)
→ 0 = 400 + 80a
→ -400 = 80a
→ -400 ÷ 80 = a
→ a = -5 m/s
Now as we also know that
F = ma
or
Force = mass × acceleration
→ F = (2000) × (-5)
→ F = -10000 N
