adult ticket = x
child ticket = y
total ticket = 2000
therefore, x+y= 2000 (1)
now
adult ticket cost = 4
child ticket cost = 2
total amout = 6400
now, 4x + 2y = 6400 (2)
multiply (1) by 2 and subtract from (2)
you will get x = 1200 and y = 800
adult tickets = 1200
child tickets = 800
child ticket = y
total ticket = 2000
therefore, x+y= 2000 (1)
now
adult ticket cost = 4
child ticket cost = 2
total amout = 6400
now, 4x + 2y = 6400 (2)
multiply (1) by 2 and subtract from (2)
you will get x = 1200 and y = 800
adult tickets = 1200
child tickets = 800

Hii frnd.
Let the no. of ticket for adults be x
And for children be y
x+y=2000 eq.1
4x+2y=6400 eq.2
On solving it simultaneously
Multiply eq.1 by 4
4x+4y=8000
4x+2y=6400
2y=1600
y=800
Now,putting the value of y in eq.1
x+y=2000
x=2000-800
x=1200
Hope it helped u.
