Celebrating 200th birth anniversary of Vidyasagar has been started from 26.09.2019 and it will continue a year.
- He was born on 26th September 1820 and named Ishwarchandra Bandyopadhyay.
- Later he earned the title “Vidyasagar” as he was a very knowledgeable person.
- As part of this celebration, Vidyasagar week also observed from 20.09.2019 to 26.09.2019 by government of West Bengal.
- Various school students took part in various competitions like easy writing, cultural function, exhibition, seminars etc.
