Given : Total grocery bill - 20,299 for fruits and vegetables.

cost is Vegetables :9,299

cost of fruits 200 / kg

To find out :

how many kg of fruits were bought ?

Solution :

We are provided with the information that

total grocery bill for a wedding party is 20,299.

Cost of vegetables is 9,299

Cost of fruits = 200 per kg.

Now we are asked to find out how many kilogram of fruits were bought for s wedding party.

As we are given Total amount spent which is 20,299 . Also we have amount spent on vegetables.

So we will deduct amount spent on vegetables from the total bill amount .

So we get

20,299 - 9,299 = 11,000

So now it is clear that amount spent on fruits is 11,000 .

Fruits were bought for 200 per kg .

Now we will divide 11,000 with 200 to get the quantity of fruits .

11,000 ÷ 200 = 55

Hence 55 kg of fruits were bought .
