21. 1) Find the radius of the incircle of triangleABC,
AB = 7cm, BC = 24 cm and angle B = 90°
2) Find the shaded area. (Take π = 3.14)

The answer is 1. 3cm 2. 55.74cm2

Given,

Radius (r) = 4.2 cm

We know that,

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

= 2 × (22/7) × 4.2 = 26.4 cm2

Area of a circle = πr

= (22/7) x 4.22

= 22 x 0.6 x 4.2 = 55.44 cm2
