Given :-

• Total Notes = 1600
• Ratio of 10 notes and 20 notes is 2:3

To Find :-

• Numbers of Notes of Rs, 10 and Rs,20.

Solution :-

Let number of Rs, 10 notes = 2x

Let number of Rs, 20 notes = 3x

★ According To The Question ★

⇛ 2x + 3x = 1600

⇛ 5x = 1600

⇛ x = 1600/5

⇛ x = 320

Number of Rs, 10 notes = 2x = 2 × 320 = 640

Number of Rs, 20 notes = 3x = 3 × 320 = 960

Verification :-

⇛ 2x + 3x = 1600

⇛ 2 × 320 + 3 × 320 = 1600

⇛ 640 + 960 = 1600

⇛ 1600 = 1600

∴ Number of Rs, 10 notes = 640

∴ Number of Rs, 20 notes = 960
