21. A bouncing ball reaches a maximum height of 10 m. How much time does each complete up and down cycle take ? [Ans. 2.857 s)​

Given that :- Maximum height were the ball reaches is 10 m,

As we have to calculate the time,

As we know,

h=\frac{u^2}{2g}

10=\frac{u^2}{2g}

u=14m/s

Now, for total time = \frac{2u}{g}

                               =2 * \frac{14}{9.8}

                               =2.857 s

Thus, the required time will be 2.857 s
