Given that :- Maximum height were the ball reaches is $10 m$,

As we have to calculate the time,

As we know,

$h=\frac{u^2}{2g}$

$10=\frac{u^2}{2g}$

$u=14m/s$

Now, for total time = $\frac{2u}{g}$

                               $=2 * \frac{14}{9.8}$

                               $=2.857 s$

Thus, the required time will be $2.857 s$
