A Grass - Grasshopper - Frog - Snake

B We know that energy gets reduced at each trophic level. At level more than 4 the energy becomes so small that that life would not be possible. So we don't find more than 4 of 5 trophic level.

Answer:

a)A terrestrial food chain depicting four trophic levels is as follows- grass (producer), eaten by a mouse (primary consumer), eaten by a snake (secondary consumer), eaten by a hawk (tertiary consumer)

b) Food chains are limited to 4 trophic levels because less and less energy is available at higher trophic levels.
