if their shares be invested in 2% C.I., they receive equal amounts on reaching 18 years of age.
How did he divide the money ?​

Alok,15 years=p amount 18-15=3years

Dikshit, 13 years =q amount 18-13=5years

Let them receive R when they become 18

For Alok R =p(1+2/100)^3=p(1.02)^3

For Dikshit R =q(1+2/100)^5

p(1.02)^3 = q(1.02)^5

p = q(1.02)^2=q(1.0404)

p+q =45909

q(1.0404)+q=45909

q(1.0404+1) = 45909

q(2.0404)=45909

q=45909/2.0404=22500 Dikshit's share

p= 45909-22500=23409 Alok's share
