(i) 3 out of the above ten, are not polynomials.

(ii) 1 of the above ten, are quadratic polynomials

First of all, let us see what are polynomials.

Polynomials are those mathematical expressions where the variables have integers exponent that are positive.

Given, the expressions are 2x + 3, 3x² + 7x + 2, 4x³ + 3x² + 2, x³√3x + 7, 7x + √7, 5x³ - 7x + 2,  2x² + 3 - 5/x , 5x - x/2,  ax³ + bax² + cx + d, x + 1/x

The powers of x containing -1 like 5/x, x/2 and 1/x do not fall under the category of polynomials.

So, 3 of 10 are not polynomials.

Any expression expressed in the form of ax² + bx + c are quadratic equations.

Out of the 10, only  3x² + 7x + 2 satisfy this condition so it is a quadratic polynomial.
