Answer:

gain ratio = new ratio - old ratio

for suchita =

=5/8 - 3/9

= new ratio multiply by 9 and old ratio multiply by 8

so, = 45/72 - 24/72

= 21/72

for chandru =

= 3/8 - 2//9

= nwe ratio multiply by 9 and old ratio multiply by 8

so, 27/72 - 16/72

= 11/72

Answer:

Calculation of Gaining Ratio = 21 : 11

Explanation:

As we know that

Gaining Ratio = New Profit sharing Ratio - Old profit sharing ratio

As given,

New Ratio of Suchit & Chandru is 5 : 3

So here, suchit's new share = 5/8

              chandru's new share = 3/8

Old Ratio of Ankit, Suchit & Chandru was 4 : 3 : 2

So here, suchit's new share = 3/9

              chandru's new share = 2/9

Now, calculation of Gaining ratio =

New ratio - Old ratio

Suchit's gaining ratio = 3/9 - 5/8    {solve this using LCM)

                                    = (21/72)

Chandru's gaining ratio = 2/9 - 3/8    {solve this using LCM)

                                    = (11/72)

Therefore, Gaining ratio between Suchit & Chandru is 21:11.
