ascending order of increasing electronegativity:-
K < Na < Al < S
- moving from left to right in a periodic table, electronegativity increases. Since, S lies in the extreme right, it is the most electronegative
- Aluminium comes in middle so it is lesser electronegative than S
- Na is in extreme left so, it is even less electronegative than Al.
- moving from top to bottom in a periodic table electronegativity decreases. K lies below Sodium, so it is the least electronegative element.
