Solutions :-

Given :
21 pumps can empty a water tank in 36 hours.

Let the time taken by 56 pumps be x

Find the time taken by 56 pumps to do the same work :-

=> 21 × 36 = 56 × x
=> 756 = 56x
=> 756/56 = x = 13.5

Hence,
56 pumps take 13.5 hours or 13 hours and 30 minutes to do the same work.

Hello there!

        Given that,

21 pumps can empty a water tank in 36 hours

Let the time taken by 56 pumps be Y

Therefore,

=21 *36 = 56* Y

= 56y = 756

= 756/56

               y = 13.5 hrs

13.5 in Minutes = 13 hours 30 minutes
