 \huge \mathcal \red{┌Question┐}:

A rectangular field 750 m long and 450 m broad has two roads in the middle of it, which are 5 m wide, running at right angles to each other. One is along the length and the other along the breadth. Find the area of the road?

 \huge \mathcal \red{┌Answer┐}:

•Image↑

→Area of road = Area of rectangle PQRS + Area of rectangle MNOP - Area of square in centre

⇒ Area =(450×5)+(750×5)−(5×5)

⇒ 5(450+750−5) =5×1195 =5975m²
