Question:

Find the circumference of a circle of diameter 56 cm.

Given:

Diameter : 56 cm

To find:

Circumference of circle

\huge \mathtt {(2πr)}

Where, r = radius of circle

Answer:

176 cm

Solution:

Diameter = 56 cm

Radius =  \large \frac {1}{2}{× Diameter}

=  \large \frac {1}{2}{× 56}

= 28

Circumference of circle = \huge \mathtt {2πr}

=  \large{2 ×} \frac {22}{7}{× 28}

= 176 cm
