22.4 litres of a gas weighs 70 g at S.T.P. Calculate the weight of the gas if it occupies a volume of 20 litres at 27°C and 700 mm Hg of pressure.​

By gas equation,

P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2

700 × 20/300 = 760 × V2/273

16.76 litres of the gas has weight at 

STP = 70×16.76 / 22.4 = 52.38g
