Answer:

root17

Explanation:

anet=underroot centripetal acceleration +tangential acceleration

centripetal acceleration =rw²=1×4=4

tangential acceleration =ralpha=1×1=1

anet=underroot 4²+1²=underroot 16 +1=root 17

The correct answer of the following question is \sqrt{17, so the correct option is (2)

Given: angular velocity = 2 rad/sec

           angular acceleration = 1 rad/sec

           time = 2 second

           radius of the path = 1m

To find: net acceleration

Solution:

Net acceleration = \sqrt{(centripetal acceleration)^2+ (tangential acceleration)^2

Centripetal acceleration = rω²

                                         = 1×4 = 4

Tangential acceleration = rα

                                        = 1×1 = 1

Therefore, the net acceleration = \sqrt{(4)^2 + 1^2

                                                     = \sqrt{17

Therefore the correct option is (2)
