horizontal circle. The maximum tension the string can withstand is 100N.
Calculate (a) the angular velocity (b) the speed of rotation and (c) the number of
revolutions per minute, just before snaps.​

SOLUTION:

In this Question the T = Fc

mv²/r = T

0.25 ×v² = 100r

v² = 100/0.25

v = 20m/s(Linear velocity)

v = rw => w = v/r

w = 20/1 = 20rad/s(angular Velocity)

w = 20/(2π×60)

w = 0.05 rev/ min
