GIVEN :-

  • A quadratic polynomial 3x² + 6x + 3.

TO FIND :-

  • The zeros of the given quadratic polynomial.

SOLUTION :-

Here , we finding the zeros of the polynomial, so the polynomial will be written as,

➟ 3x² + 6x + 3 = 0.

Now by splitting the middle term,

➟ 3x² + 3x + 3x + 3 = 0

➟ 3x(x + 1) + 3(x + 1) = 0

➟ (3x + 3) (x + 1) = 0

➟ (3x + 3) = 0 , (x + 1) = 0

➟ 3x = 0 - 3 , x = 0 - 1

➟ 3x = -3 , x = -1

➟ x = -3/3 , x = -1

x = -1 , x = -1

Hence the why are zeros of quadratic polynomial are -1 , -1.
