Thus,

6p + 50 \\  \\  = 6 \times ( - 10) + 50 \\  =  - 60 + 50 \\  = -10

ii)

3p {}^{2}  - 20p \\  \\ =  3 \times ( - 10) {}^{2} - 20 \times ( - 10) \\  = 300 + 200 \\  = 500

Answers are -10 and 500
