We will use CHAIN RULE to solve this.

Note: According to Chain Rule, the work efficiency remains same.

i.e.WORK DONEWORKFORCE×TIME=CONSTANTWORK DONEWORKFORCE×TIME=CONSTANT

Let, ‘W’ work is done in both the cases. So, using CHAIN RULE,

611×1=27x×1611×1=27x×1

where, x is the number of men required to complete the work.

Or, x=(27×11)6=(27×11)6

Or, x=49.5Menx=49.5Men (Answer)

But we can't have 49.5 Men, so we will need 50 Mento complete the required work in one day.

Answer: 125 Men

Step-by-step explanation:

22 Men ⇒ 27m

x Men ⇒ 153m

By Cross Multiplication ⇒ 27x = 153*22

⇒ x = 374/3 = 124.667

⇒ 125 Men are required to complete the given work in one day
