1)total money she spent on buying things=cost of pair of jeans+cost of jacket+cost of cap

=850.75+268.29+160.25

1279.2

2)money she paid to the shopkeeper=5000

3)money retured by shopkeeper=5000-1279.2

=3720.8

I hope this was helpful

Given:

  • Cost of a pair of jeans = Rs. 850.75
  • Cost of a jacket = Rs. 268.20
  • Cost of a cap = Rs. 160.25
  • Amount of money he gave to the shopkeeper = Rs. 5000

What To Find:

Money shopkeeper will return.

Solution:

⇒ Money will shopkeeper return = Amount gave to shopkeeper - Cost of products

Substitute the value,

⇒ Money will shopkeeper return =  Rs. 5000 - (Rs. 850.75 + Rs. 268.20 + Rs. 160.25)

Solve the brackets,

⇒ Money will shopkeeper return =  Rs. 5000 - Rs. 1279.20

Subtract the amount,

⇒ Money will shopkeeper return =  Rs. 3720.80

∴ Thus the shopkeeper will return Rs. 3720.80.
